In Madagascar
Our partner in Madagascar undertook a CSR approach (Corporate Social Responsibility and environmental).
The company complies with the SA 8000 standard which guarantees :

no child labour
no forced labour
no discrimination
hygiene and safety
good pay.

Our partner´s employees earn a salary above the local minimum wage, have health insurance and a retirement scheme (Fund National Social Welfare), enjoy good working conditions (doctor available, lunch provided... etc.). At the manufacturer´s site, large sums were invested in a water reprocessing station which was started in early 2008. The objective is to stop subjecting African nature to what is no longer allowed in Europe. The sludge of the plant is dried and incinerated at a very high temperature, thus releasing minimum noxious gases. The purified and filtered water flows into a basin that is home to a large number of carp. Then, dripping through bamboo woods it returns to earth.

In West Africa
We have partners in Mali and Burkina Faso with which we are trying to develop products in organic and fair cotton craft fabrics. This is part of a fair trade: small disadvantaged producers, prices for a fair remuneration for craftsmen, payment of a deposit, contract, refusal of forced labor, exchange of «know-how», transparency in operations...

Tunisia (manufacture of denim pieces).
Our Tunisian partner who is a specialist in the manufacture of denim (jeans) undertook a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental) approach. The company complies with the SA 8000 standard and specializes in environmentally-friendly processes : biowash, plant dyeing ... etc. The denim is made in Italy.

In France
We work with a workshop working on social reintegration in Normandy for making small lines of series. It allows people in difficulty, to find a job that gives them confidence in themselves.

We work with a spinner in the south of France for the recycled fibers. He has filed a patent for a new manufacturing process of regenerated yarn , with a very good performance.

In Italy
Our Italian partner is a specialist manufacturer of premium denim. For years, he has gradually adjusted his manufacturing tool to make it as environmentally friendly as possible. So naturally he has recently developed a range of organic cotton denim dyed by the principles of GOTS. The original organic cotton and dye GOTS are certified by ICEA.
